Winterscape




This work was an in class demonstration of watercolor monotype. I decided to take the elements of a scene that I had seen during the early fall. The image was painted on prepared acetate with heavy paint. The white is the white of the paper. After the image was printed onto a watercolor paper, I added warm tints of yellow/orange to complete the work. The final effect is impressionist in appearance.
