Winter Country

This work started as a demonstration painting in Orlando this past January. When I returned to Montreal, I looked at it and found the color to be too heavy. I decided to put it in the bath and gently scrub it with a natural sponge. The resulting color was very soft and gray. The decision was made to turn it into a winter landscape. I stayed with the same TETRAD choice of yellow-orange & ultramarine blue plus alizarin crimson & hooker's green.

Dimensions: 22x 30

Medium: watercolor
