Therese's Peony

I was invited to view Therese's garden and among the marvels that I saw were
the peonies. This particular painting was created in the evenings during my
workshops at Mount Sutton. The workshop participants watched me painting,
just as I watched them painting during the day.
I decided on watercolor and no masking gum. The intense darks come from the
Thalo colors of blue and purple.
Dimensions: 22 x 30
Medium: watercolor
