"The Pauze that Refreshes"


This stream of water runs off of the mountain and it is frigid and pristine clean. I wanted to express the coolness and the sounds. When approaching this stream, you are first aware of a sudden coolness and then the sound of tumbling water. I chose to work with cool blues & violets and their complements. I did not want an horizon line. I wanted the viewer to feel as if they were right there sensing the refreshing atmosphere.
