Sunglow




This lily is sleeping under two feet of snow at the moment. I remember in July how it glowed in the sunshine. I like to think that it is still glowing beneath the earth during the cold winter months. It is a large lily that seems too heavy for its delicate stem. Like the sunflower it looked skyward for the warmth of the sun which magically seemed to help to support its large size.
