Sundance V


It was the middle of the summer & the sunflowers were starting to show their faces towards the sun. It was time to think about a sunflower composition. This seems to happen every year at this time. I wanted to enhance the golden richness of the flower & the reds & browns of the coming autumn were just what the painting needed. I used my acrylics in a transparent application to acheive the rich,dark background. Watercolor was the medium for the flowers. This work glows in a darkened room.
