"Although not native to Florida, the banyan tree can be found everywhere. I am attracted to this species because of my studies in sculpture. I describe this tree as a forest. I have painted it many times in many colors but, I am always interested in its form & serpentine movement. It is a wonderful subject for tonal/value drawings."
