Sky Flowers

In the south, this small flower lays in blankets over stone walls and travels along fences. It is not particularly noticeable. In January when we are in the south, I look for this little spot of color in all the green. I find these flowers to be hopeful for the warmth that is coming. I find them in many places sitting amongst the greenery looking skyward searching for the light. Small buds hide themselves amongst the leaves and flowers and are ready to appear at any moment.
