September, Along Chapel Road

"While I was painting at another spot, my husband Richard took a drive along Chapel Road and found this beautiful site. When I saw it, I saw the potential for more than one painting. It is very peaceful and there are no houses nearby. In September, the forest was just starting to change color. The water ran lazily through the forest. The only sounds were of squirrels and chipmunks skittering through the trees and leaves, and birds discussing our presence in their domain."

Dimensions: 22" x 30"
