Resplendent in Red




At this time of year in Canada, we have lost our vivid colors of the fall and the daylight is short. I will look at my tubes of red paint and think of the poppies that bloom in June. I never cease to wonder at them. They return year after year to the same place in the garden and break into bloom for a brief time, resplendent in red.
