Recollection




Recollection is a painting from memories of wetlands that I have seen here in Quebec, in the northeastern states, and when driving along the highway. I love the variety of textures in wet lands. There is the soft flow of water, the crackling sound of the dry grasses, and rustling sounds from the different varieties of trees. At the same time,there is a peacefulness like nowhere else. This watercolor was created on watercolor canvas and protected with an archival satin finish varnish.
