Path to the Lake


It is the time of year when thoughts turn toward going to the country cottage. I remember walking down a path to the lake. All lakes seem to have a path leading to them. I decided to paint this landscape in a complementary palette of yellow/orange and blue & violet. I was looking for the quiet of a late-day walk to the lake and the glow of light from the lowering sun.
