One October Morn




We happened upon this scene while driving along a country road. It was a sunny day in October and the trees and grasses were in color. Peace is what I felt as I stood looking at the land. This watercolor was painted in the cool transparent primaries. The depth of color was achieved by glazing over the under wash of blue sky, rose ground and tree trunks, and yellow foliage.
