While I was at Kingsey Falls again this year, I revisited the river and the beautiful parkland. During the workshop, we all went to the river to do some sketches for our watercolor paintings. It was a wonderful day with a warm sun striking the river and woodland. In this work, I changed the time of day. Late afternoon is quiet at the river.

I decided to use a complementary palette of Quinacridone Gold, Quinacridone Sienna, and Quinacridone Burnt Orange to be contrasted with Ultramarine Violet, Cobalt Blue, and Indigo.
