Morning at the River




This river scene is from Kingsey Falls, Quebec. When I stood on the edge of the river, I announced to the group with me, "There are many paintings here". This is the first one. It has a limited palette of Azo Yellow, Quinacridone Gold, Dioxazine Violet, Ultramarine Blue, and Phthalocyanine Blue. I was there on a gray day, but I could see the scene before me in many different light situations. I'm sure that there will be more paintings to come.
