Magnolia in Rose

The most often seen magnolia in my neighborhood is rose in color. It is a welcome sight in the spring. I thought that it would be an ideal subject for watercolor canvas. It is easier to work with thicker and darker color on the watercolor canvas and then lift off the light when it is dry or almost dry. For the background, I used my spray bottle to lift and texture the surface. This month's tip page talks about the spray bottle.

Dimensions: 18 x 24

Medium: watercolor on canvas
