L'Estrie

This scene of the Eastern Townships is typical of that region. Take any side road off of Highway 10 and the mountains, rolling farm fields, and wooded areas will be there. I, particularly like the very early springtime and the very late fall for their variety of color. In late March and early April , you will see patches of snow on the ground, remnants of the winter.

In November, the grasses will be sienna and rust in color and the trees will permit you to see scenes beyond them. This painting was created with Quinacridone Gold, Quinacridone Burnt Orange and Cobalt Blue.

Dimensions: 8 x 10

Medium: watercolor
