Lavender Blue




This is a new variety of iris in our garden. It is only three years old. This year it produced ten blooms on two stems. I was pleased to have the chance to work with delicate blue violets in contrast with cool greens. The challenge for me was to keep the flower light in color and delicate in feeling amongst the strong leaves.
