Lady Slipper Orchids

"Every June I wait for the Lady Slipper Orchids to appear as a carpet on the forest floor. They are a marvel to behold in the canadian climate. The Purdon Conservation area has thousands of these exquisite beauties growing together. The forest floor is a blaze of colour for ten days in June and then they are gone for another year."
