Lady Slipper Orchid


The lady slipper orchid is one among several types of orchids that I see in the Marie Selby Gardens in Sarasota Florida. The orchid as a flower is seductive for me as a painter. It has wonderful curves, exciting color, and an appearance of wonderful fragility. It is truly exotic for me as a Canadian.
