Jack in the Pulpit

The jack-in-the pulpit is a wild flower that can be found in the spring. Its colors are maroon and yellow-green. I love the well- designed motif on the flower. In this work, I decided to exaggerate the colors. I stayed with the red/green complements, but moved to analogous colors to create the florescent look. The greens and turquoises are complementary to the red violet, but different than the colors of the real flower.
