In Still Waters

With the fast approach of summer, I am thinking about water and water plants. I realize how fortunate we are in Canada with the tremendous amount of lakes and rivers that cover our vast country. When I drive to Sutton this year, I will also be passing wetlands. When I drive to New Brunswick this year, I will be passing wetlands. When we drove to the Niagara region, we passed wetlands along the way. In August, water lilies and lotus will be showing an amazing display of color and form in these very wetlands.

In Montreal, the water lilies and lotus will be in their full glory in the Montreal Botanical Gardens during the month of August. I will be there to look at and enjoy their amazing beauty and strength.
