Hibiscus




This year the hibiscus in Selby Gardens were wonderful. January was warmer this year and the plants showed their appreciation by putting on a show of brilliant color. They were in all sizes and color combinations. On a sunny morning walk in the garden, I was transported away from the snow and frost of winter. This work is an homage to the hibiscus and the pleasure that it gave me on a winter morning in the south.
