Evening


"I find that changing the time of day in a landscape painting gives it a romantic quality. I, particularly, like very early morning or end of day scenes. This is a scene that I have painted before. This time I decided to use intense colours for the sky. I love to work with colorful darks & that seemed to be perfect for the forest. The water is usually quiet at day's end and therefore, reflections can be almost mirror like."
