Endings: Beginnings


This painting developed after seeing various wetlands. The elements in the work are taken from a variety of scenes. The tree trunk is from Haliburton, Ontario. The water lilies and dead trees I have seen time after time in wetlands. After reading on the subject of wetlands, I learned that this painting illustrates the life cycle of a wetland.
