Dreaming


When I was in Orlando for a one day workshop in January, I had the good fortune to have this young ballerina as our model for the day. She had a perfect complexion. I asked that she be dressed along the lines of JULIETTE. Her gown was soft in color and light and airy in feeling.

She was so lovely that background props were not necessary.

When I returned to Montreal, I looked at my sketches and photos and decided upon this composition, a young woman dreaming of the future.
