Contemplation


I attend a study group on a weekly basis. We are fortunate to have some wonderful models to draw. Some of them are dancers.

This watercolor is taken from one of my drawings. The pose was 20 - 30 minutes. I draw with 2B - 8B pencils and 30 minutes is more than enough time to record the gesture, shadows and details. I found this pose to be truly feminine and contemplative.
