April's Magnolia


April truly is the month of the magnolia. In Florida, massive blooms are starting to cover the trees and the bees are getting busy. In Quebec, our magnolias are coming back to life. They flower the trees before the leaves arrive. I have a Star Magnolia in the corner of the garden that is filled with plump buds waiting for its signal to create magic.

This magnolia is of the variety that I see in Florida and it will be starting to bloom all over the south very shortly.
