Amaryllis


"The amaryllis is one of the special joys of the winter holiday season. It grows from a bulb in the light in the living room window. The blooms are spectacular & they sit on top of a tall ridgid stem. They appear about six weeks after they have been planted. I never cease to be amazed when they break into bloom in the middle of winter."
