Aloha

Recently, I saw the naked branches of the Frangipani plant where one would see a multitude of flowers in the spring. Immediately in my mind's eye, I saw the dazzling white and yellow of the blooms and I could smell their sweet scent. It is always in the cold of winter that I paint this flower. It brings back memories of exotic Bora Bora.

This month's tip page shows some of my process in creating this work.

Dimensions: 22 x 30

Medium: watercolor
