Our subject matter will be taken from the natural surroundings of Mount Sutton in Canada’s Eastern Townships, Quebec.
Landscape inspires the artist, but more often than not, there are adjustments that need to be made to the composition. This workshop will use the principles of design as a guideline for compositional planning.
Sketching will be done on site from the chosen subject; painting, demonstrations, and lectures will take place in the studio. Weather permitting, painting en plein air will be an option.
